Hey guys, thanks for the response to my question. I will most definitely give that a try. And i ain't as bad ass as you might think 🤣 Just an old guy 51 taking up a new hobby and loving it! The crown land i hunt now is just are just small tracts of county run forests that allow hunting, but i keep looking. I am an avid back country camper/canoe-ist and your back country moose hunt sounds AWESOME! If i may make one suggestion...grab yourself a Hennessey Hammock. They pack very small and that with a Therm-O-Rest is the best sleep you'll have...way better than a tent!
